Terms of Service
What you may do with the plugin and the panel, and what we promise in return.
Draft. Not yet in force. Nation Economics is not on sale, so there is no agreement between us to govern. These documents are published early so they can be read, questioned and reviewed before the first sale.
They have not been checked by a lawyer. Written by the developer from the product's own design decisions, which makes them accurate about what the software does and unproven as legal instruments.
Still to be filled in: the legal entity, its trading address and a formal contact address. Nation Economics is currently run by an individual rather than a registered company, and those details are left blank rather than invented.
What this covers
Two separate things, and the difference matters throughout:
- The plugin is software you download and run on your own server. It works completely without an account and never needs to reach us.
- Remote Admin is a hosted panel that reads data from your server on request. It requires an account, and paid tiers unlock most of it.
You can use the first and ignore the second entirely.
Your licence to use the plugin
The free tier is not a trial and does not expire. You may run the plugin on your servers, configure it, and keep running it whether or not you ever pay us anything.
You may not resell the plugin as your own, remove or defeat its licensing checks, or redistribute modified builds as if they were ours.
The panel, and what happens when it stops
Paid tiers are sold as a term measured in one year. The term runs from the moment you activate a licence, not from the moment you buy it, so an unactivated licence can sit unused for as long as you like.
If a licence lapses, the server drops back to the free tier after a grace period. The plugin keeps running throughout. Nothing about your economy is switched off, because your economy was never ours to switch off.
What we do not promise
No uptime guarantee for the panel. It is run by one person, and pretending otherwise would be a promise we could not keep. What we do commit to is that the panel going down never affects your server: the plugin keeps running and logging while we are unreachable.
Ending it
You can stop at any time. Anything we hold centrally is downloadable for seven days after cancellation and then discarded. Your economy data is unaffected because it is on your machine.
We may suspend an account for the reasons set out in the Acceptable Use Policy. Where we do, we will say which rule and give you your data.
Governing law
To be confirmed with legal advice, alongside the entity details above. The developer is based in Slovakia, and sales are handled by a Merchant of Record who becomes the legal seller for the transaction.
