Draft. Not yet in force. Nation Economics is not on sale, so there is no agreement between us to govern. These documents are published early so they can be read, questioned and reviewed before the first sale.
They have not been checked by a lawyer. Written by the developer from the product's own design decisions, which makes them accurate about what the software does and unproven as legal instruments.
The policy
Within 24 hours of purchase, we will refund 90% of the price. The window runs from when you bought the licence, not from when you activated it.
The 10% covers the payment processing that has already been spent and is not returned to us.
Two clocks, deliberately separate
A licence has a purchase date and an activation date, and they do different jobs. The refund window runs from purchase. The one-year term runs from activation. A licence can sit unactivated for a long time and still be a full year when it is finally used.
EU withdrawal rights, stated plainly
Selling digital goods to consumers in the EU normally carries a 14-day right of withdrawal. There is a recognised exception for digital content delivered immediately, where the buyer expressly consents and acknowledges losing that right.
Our checkout is built for that exception: a dedicated screen, the waiver highlighted, a five-second pause before the confirm button becomes usable, and only then a checkbox. Nobody clicks through it by accident.
What we will not claim: that this definitely displaces the 14-day right in every case. An unactivated licence sitting in an inventory arguably has not been delivered yet, so the withdrawal right may still apply until activation. This needs a lawyer's answer, and until it has one, we would rather you read the open question than a confident sentence.
If the law gives you a stronger right than this policy does, the law wins. That is not generosity; that is how it works.
Asking for one
Contact support with your purchase. Because a Merchant of Record is the legal seller, some refunds are processed by them rather than by us; we will tell you which and stay involved either way.
What you keep
Nothing is taken away from your server by a refund. The plugin is free and stays working. A refund ends the paid panel, not your economy.
