NationEconomics
One codebase, three jars · 1.16.5 · 1.21 · 26.x

A real economy your server can actually govern.

Nations that tax and govern, player-run banks that can genuinely fail, terminals that route every coin, and physical cash you can rob in transit. A banking and statecraft simulation where every coin traces back to a decision someone made.

Everything included

One plugin. A whole economy.

Each of these exists because the others do. Tax funds police, police protect banks, banks lend to businesses, and businesses pay the tax. Every system below is in the free build.

B

Banks that can fail

Players found banks, buy real infrastructure and publish their own collapse policy. A withdrawal the bank cannot cover fails — bank runs are meant to be possible.

T

Territorial taxation

You are not taxed by one nation. Each thing you own is taxed by whichever nation it sits in, so a farm, a shop and a house can answer to three different governments.

K

Everything through a terminal

Banks issue terminals, and every transaction routes through the bank that issued it. When a bank dies its terminals die with it, and rivals can bid to adopt them.

C

Cash that can be stolen

Serialised banknotes, physically carried. Branches must deliver takings to headquarters, which puts valuable cargo on a predictable route through the world.

P

Police, courts and prisons

Two tiers of policing, warrants that expire if nobody signs them, real-time sentences, and bail anyone can pay — recorded, because who bails whom is evidence.

S

One bill for everything owed

Tax, fines, invoices, rent, loan repayments and licence fees are one mechanic: issued, carried as a book, settled at a terminal, logged on both sides.

Three steps

Set up faster than you can mine a stack of iron.

The plugin needs nothing from us to run. Linking the panel is optional, and it is the only part that involves an account.

1

Download the right jar

Three builds, one for each Minecraft line. The download page picks the one that matches your server.

2

Drop it in and restart

Into /plugins, then restart. The economy runs from that moment on, with no account and no payment.

3

Run /setup to link the panel

It prints a 42-character instance ID. Paste that into the panel and your server is connected.

Your data

It stays on your server.

Balances, ledgers, banks and nations live in files on the machine you already run. The panel is a live view of them, not a copy — it asks your server for what you are looking at, renders it, and forgets it.

Nothing to migrate away from

If you stop paying, the economy carries on exactly as it is. There is nothing of yours to hold, because we never held it.

Works offline

Lose your connection to us and the plugin keeps running and logging. Only the panel goes quiet.

Costs you nothing to leave

Export everything in a plain, readable format whenever you want, not only when you cancel.
