Put the new credential on the server.
The last step, and the one with an order that matters.
Write it before you use it
Store the new secret first, then let the server connect with it. The old secret keeps working until the new one has succeeded once, so a crash at any point in between leaves you with a working key rather than two dead ones.
Then check it took
/ne status
It should report the instance as connected. If it still reports no instance, the secret did not get written where the plugin looks.
This step is not open yet.
Registering a server needs the plugin API, which is not built. Everything
before this point is real and worth doing now — the plugin runs your economy
without the panel, and this page exists so the last step is not a surprise
when it opens.
